UC Browser banned from Google play Store

Recent news has come directly from the headquarters of Google Inc. that they have banned UC Browser permanently. The AliBaba owned UC Browser has reportedly to be more than 400 million Downloads last month and followed by 100 million downloads in India before it disappeared from Google Play store.  However the other application from UCWebUC News and UC Browser mini is available for download from Play Store. As per the removal, the report says this Chinese app is accused of sharing the personal data of Indian users to a Chinese server, but the reason is still not clear.

A probe against the UCWeb-Developed UC Browser for sending data and details of location of users from India to server located in China ,without their consent. If the Browser is found guilty ,Indian government is all set to ban the application permanently.

“The Browser is temporarily removed from Play Store for next 30 days after the developer found adoption of ‘unhealthy‘ and ‘misleading‘ installs” an ex-employ at UCWeb(Developer of UC Browser) Claimed on Twitter. There is no official statement made by Google on the removal of the application from Play Store.
